The Inspiration of Dynamic (and Animated) Data Analysis

Here is an inspiring video piece by Prof Hans Rosling that makes the case for dynamic data analysis and effective visual presentation by example. According to Prof Rosling, "having the data is not enough -- I have to show it in ways people both enjoy and understand." The future of dynamic data analysis never looked better:

Hi William,

I was thinking about this presentation, it is really impressive. Interesting is how the data were collected. I know that in the pasts stats were also collected but still I am in shock. Now we have even different countries than 200 ago.

Dr William, This is a very interesting post that clearly shows the direction BI, analytics and advanced visualization are going in order to make possible to digest, understand and clarify trends and metrics coming from huge amounts data.
