I absolutely agree. The Citizen's United v. Federal Election Commission Supreme Court decision was an unmitigated travesty for the American people, was arguably the worst Supreme Court decision since Dred Scott and seriously undermines what little protection the American people had from special interest groups’ influence on our elected officials and society. The majority opinion’s assertion that a business corporation is merely another way that individuals might choose to organize their association with one another to pursue their common expressive aims is simply ludicrous. Has any corporation ever solicited its employees / shareholders about their “expressive aims”?
